Family Mealtimes: The Simply Dinner Study

The Simply Dinner Study is seeking research assistants to help us evaluate Head Start families' satisfaction with Simply Dinner mealtime activities.

The Simply Dinner study is a federally funded project focusing on family mealtimes. As part of the study, families receive meals and cookware delivered to their homes. As one of our research assistants you will talk with family participants (typically on the phone) to ask about their level of satisfaction with the meals and materials received. This is a great way to gain experience in interactions with parents of preschool aged children and to gain experience working on a research study. Flexible hours! The position is about 5 hours per week.

The positions begin in June.

To apply, visit:

-- Friendly, outgoing demeanor -- Comfort communicating on the phone -- GPA of 3.1 or higher -- Interest in the topic (family meals, families, children, parenting) -- Some weekend and evening availability to make calls required -- Must commit to at least two semesters
