Coding of Spanish speech files

This project examines how the pronunciation of [s] by Spanish speaking parents influences the rate of acquisition of plural morphology (also realized as [s])

This project involves coding of phonetic properties of mother and child speech recordings. The work involves listening to audio files and noting the pronunciation of [s] at the end of words.

Qualifications

Must be a native or near native speaker of Spanish (really) (Chilean Spanish is a plus). Must be detail-oriented, must be able to work at least 10 hours a week, must have basic computer skills (knowledge of PRAAT is a plus but not necessary).
