The Sempere lab has generated novel mouse and rat cancer models using easi-CRISPR tools. We need a talented student to characterize in detail the generated genetic alterations and to determine whether engineered regulatory elements operate as intended.
A pilot project focused on levels of familiarity with symptoms associated with Alzheimer’s Disease, diagnosis and care, and perceptions and concerns about AD, as well as barriers to care among Mexicans and Puerto Ricans in the Grand Rapids region.
The successful candidate will work on a project that is part of a recent NIH BRAIN Initiative awarded grant focused on ethical concerns, beliefs and attitudes towards different psychiatric electroceutical interventions.
