My advice to students wanting to get involved in research is to stay open minded and curious. You do not need to have all the answers or a perfect plan to get started. Be willing to learn, ask questions, and take initiative even if the topic is new to you. Reach out to professors, attend research events, and express genuine interest in their work. Be patient with yourself as you build skills and remember that every experience, even small tasks, can contribute to your growth. Research is a journey of discovery, so stay open to where it might lead you.
